A saxophonist, clarinet-player and composer, he was born in 1974 in Milan. He inherited from his grandfather, a clarinet master, his great love for music. Afterwards, he continued the study of this instrument at “G.Verdi” Academy of Music in Milan where he obtained the diploma with full marks in the class of master L. Tessari. Later he attended the biennal class of post-diloma training. Parallel to the classical studies, the discovery of jazz led him to undertake the study of it with the saxophonists Paolo Tomelleri, Pietro Tonolo and Tino Tracanna.
He got the diploma in jazz music with full marks in the class of Tino Tracanna at “G.Verdi” Academy of Music in Milan.
In 2001 he attended the masterclass in jazz arrangement with the master Corrado Guarino and in 2002 he attended the jazz masterclass with Dave Liebman and Massimo Colombo.
As a clarinet-player he ranked among the first at the “ PREMIO ISPRA” (Va) International Musical Contest in 1991, “VITO LENA” clarinet national contest at Segni (Rm) in 1994, and at T.I.M. INTERNATIONAL CONTEST in Erba (Co) in 1997.
The international awards of musical critics led him to engage in an intense activity of concerts in high-level theatres and music-halls as well as abroad, both as a soloist and in chamber groups or symphonic orchestras like the ORCHESTRA SINFONICA of Pesaro, the Symphonic Orchestra of the G. Verdi Academy of Music, Villa-lobos Orchestra of Paderno Dugnano, the Operà Ensemble of Milan.
He collaborates with the “Nuevos Aires” for the research and diffusion of the folktangojazz rhythms of South America.
In 1998 he founded the Felice Clemente Quintet, then he experienced the sextet as a leader, finally arriving to the current formation as a quartet.
In 2001 he composed and co-arranged the musical entitled “La principessa Neghito” for the Teatro delle Erbe in Milan. Since 2005 ha has been inventor and artistic director of Crocevia di Suoni Jazz Festival in Agrate Brianza (Mi).
In 2007 he created his own record label called Crocevia di Suoni Records.
He is author of advertisement jingles, he holds classes of jazz history at the academical Seminars in Vimercate and Agrate Brianza, he is teacher of music in the secondary school and also teaches clarinet, saxophone, and jazz improvisation in various music schools in Milan.
The main jazz clubs and festivals where he played are: Blue Note in Milan, La Palma Club in Rome, Terni in jazz fest, Classicum jazz in Rome, Ronciglione jazz Festival in Viterbo, “Gezziamoci” Basilicata International Festival in Matera, Open Jazz Varese, Crocevia di Suoni Agrate B.za, Brianza Open Festival in Milan, Peperoncino jazz festival Diamante (Cs), Cosenza Jazz festival, Lario Jazz & Blues Festival...etc.
