Carol Bach-y-Rita's warm rich tones and sparkling musicality are in full evidence on her new CD "What Love Is". Sung in both English an Portuguese, the new release showcases her mastery in the worlds of jazz and Brazilian music.The recording features compositions by many of her favorites including Moacir Santos, Gilberto Gil, Ton Jobim, Stan Getz and Billie Holiday, with beautiful arrangements by Robert Kyle. Robert is also feature on tenor sax and flute, along with a stellar group of musicians - Trey Henry on acoustic bass, Mike Shapiro on drums and Jamieson Trotter on piano.
