"Falu: Indie Hindi Rock" New York City, Estados Unidos Falu is a classically trained Indian vocalist combining Hindi music with an inventive rock sound. She has worked with a wide array of artists including Yo-Yo Ma (in The Silk Road Project), Ustad Sultan Khan and Blues Traveler. Backed by a line-up of talented NYC musicians, not only can she tear up the rock clubs in downtown Manhattan, but she also serves as one of Carnegie Hall's Music Ambassadors to NYC. Falu is widely recognized for a rare ability to seamlessly blend a signature modern inventive rock style with a formidable Indian classically-shaped vocal talent. Blue7 ( Las Vegas, Nevada, Estados Unidos ) Was formed in 2007 by jazz trumpeter James Barela. Their music is an eclectic blend of modern jazz, world music, and contemporary beats. James Barela James Barela was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming and began his musical/trumpet training at 10. James learned quickly and was soon forming and booking his own jazz and rock combos. After graduating high school, James attended Northwest College and studied with Neil Hansen, Mike Masterson, and Ronnie Bedford (whose group James regularly performed with). James later transferred to the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver where he graduated with a Bachelor of Music/trumpet performance and a Master of Music/composition both with honors.
